Inside Sales Representative

Overview

LifeYield is looking for a motivated, hands-on and experienced Inside Sales Representative to join its Direct-to-Advisor Sales Team. You will be expected to cast a wide net in making direct-to-advisor sales in the Independent Financial Advisor channel. The ideal candidate for this role has successfully navigated and sold software to Financial Advisors, IBD reps, IARs and Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs) and has significant knowledge of financial technology and financial products (e.g. stocks, bonds, mutual funds, ETFs, etc.). We are looking for a candidate who describes themselves as a problem solver, team player and has an appetite for growth and new challenges. Ability to thrive in a highly demanding, fast-paced environment wearing many hats, and able to run with limited resources; a top performer, with a proactive approach who has a “roll up your sleeves” mentality. This position is located in Boston, reports directly to LifeYield’s EVP – Sales, and has significant potential for upside.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for inbound interest
  • Reach out to potential customers by phone and email
  • Qualify inbound leads by phone and email
  • Harvest opportunities from outbound marketing efforts and various partnerships
  • Optimize the process/reporting to improve conversions, increase sales productivity and reduce customer acquisition cost
  • Work with LifeYield’s EVP – Sales and the Head of Business Development and Marketing to improve messaging, lead scoring, prospect lead nurturing and lead reporting through the sales funnel.
  • Work with our Advisor Support team to improve onboarding and ongoing training resources.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 2+ years of sales to financial institutions
  • Deep understanding of software and ability to demo the Company’s products
  • Deep understanding of fintech products
  • Deep understanding of the full sales cycle
  • Creative, opportunistic and an expert problem solver
  • Experience working with HubSpot
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written
