Noteworthy achievements by the LifeYield principals include the founding of Lattice Trading in 1991, a highly scalable advanced Alternative Trading System (ATS) that integrates order-matching with order-routing and which was purchased by State Street Global Advisors in 1996, Upstream Technologies, an advanced portfolio management optimization and trading system, which was purchased by CheckFree Services Corp., now Fiserv, in 2007, and the first of its kind guaranteed income program on an a unified managed account, which was launched by Lockwood/Pershing Managed Accounts Solutions in 2008.
